How to search for a property for events

Is there a way to find properties to hold an event (like a baby shower in our case)?

The only thing I see is to add a filter, but that does not seem to work well and I think that there should be properties that are specifically for events and not just houses that host overnight and are open to an event.

Any suggestions are welcome!

There are lots of properties that are venues for events. A google search + location should help you find them.

You can then just use your airbnb for your stay.
