This just came up today, host has no other properties. This one is new but everyone has to start somewhere.
Except, the availability calendar looks odd, and the lack of reviews is a bit unnerving.
I'm really struggling to find accomodation for my trip net week. Which of course scammers will know and feed on.
I'd appreciate some advice.
Thanks
Looks like a new host who is going away for a summer break, from what I can tell from the calendar.
The listing is on the airbnb site, looks fine and I don't imagine would be a scam- how exactly would they scam you? If you book and pay on the platform you are covered by Airbnb.
They haven't put anything in the listing body, but looks like they will as it says "to write" so perhaps get in touch with them to see if they are going to update etc if this place is your only option.
Why not message the host and have a chat and ask if they've let it before, ask something about the property/area etc? That will put your mind at rest for sure.
All hosts and guests started with 0 reviews until someone booked them:)
Thank you (both).
Never had to check anything like this before and totally agree that at some everybody had no positive feedback. So someone has to take a leap.of faith. There was just that worry that because I'm under pressure, that's exactly when you make bad choices. I've already sent the host a message.
Thank you again for your advice
The " https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms.... " URL is correct for a listing on Airbnb.
