@Madeline7 Yes, the street address is provided in the booking confirmation after a booking request is confirmed.

You can message the guest to check their trip confirmation from Airbnb.

If it is possible for you, however that a host gives a direction and more explanations about the place she/he lives in.

Upon reservation being confirmed your address is shared with guest. 

My bet is that they are either new or  lazy or both. 

A simple message stating that address can be found in the app if the open the “trip section” it would look like this 

Maybe also take the opportunity to add directions from nearest station etc.

My recent Airbnb booking has witheld the address for 30 plus days.  Reviews are excellent, but I have had a negative Airbnb experience in units which had generally good reviews.  Place was in drug central.   I simply want to Google Map the unit, to take a look.  I am hardly in a position to drop down and look through windows as it is 1000 miles away.  I have asked the host if they will provide it.  I am seriously cosidering cancelling this booking because of it.
