I am thinking about joining AIRBNB with a spare room in SF. would like advice

I would love some advice or meet another person that has done AIRBNB in SF to learn the in and outs of using this outlet instead of a roomate situation for my apartment.  My name is Rodney and I can be reached at [Email Hidden] or here I guess lol.  It am just not sure about the SF law around AIRBNB, taxes, how often does a room get rented..I really appreciate any feed back.

Have a look and see if there are any meet up groups or FB groups for San Fransico hosts.

Also make sure you have checked your lease agreements to ensure you can host in your area. I've heard that there have been problems with this in some areas in the US.

@Rodney4 Welcome and good luck with your listing. FYI...It's not a good idea to post your e-mail address in public. Spammers use bots to collect these, and I'm sure you don't want to receive any more spam than you are already getting.

Hello @Rodney4,

It is lovely to meet you. My name is Lizzie and I manage the English speaking community here.

Just to let you know I have removed your personal information from your post above. Thanks for highlighting this to me.  I also wanted to mention that there is also a specific San Francisco city board here in the CC which you might find useful.

Best of luck with this.

Thanks,

Lizzie
