I would like to email airbnb with feedback on a glitch in their system.
I had a guest request 2 nights and I preapproved. Then I had another guest request one of those nights, and I did not yet respond (approve nor decline) and the system told me and the first guests that the dates were now not available.
It would be really nice if there was an easy contact us place to let airbnb know but I am sick of searching for that and have already spent larger amount of time than I wanted to, trying to find it.
Thanks
i'm in the same boat Breccia, very frustrated. i've experienced a glitch in airbnb's system where I've met all the superhost goals but it's not recognising them and giving me superhost status. i'll let you know if i find a way to make contact. it's horribly annoying and feels inhuman, unjust.
You could tweet or call ABB.
But on the issue, I take it this all happened within the 24 hours you have to respond to a booking?
It is true that if you have an inquiry or a pre-approval and a request comes in, the request will block the dates from the pre-approval being able to book or to request. The last time this happened to me I could not decline the request or click on the other one to pre-approve either. It just kept going back to the accept/decline options.
I called Airbnb, asked them to decline the request, then was able to pre-approve and the inquiry was able to book.
My last inquiry was pre-approved but when they went ahead and requested, the site forced them to wait until I saw and approved their request.
The whole site is really glitchy.
If you encounter a problem like this the only way to fix it is to call AirBnb and get a rep to fix it.
I admit I have not tried opening the site in a new browser to see if it came unstuck.
