I booked via instant book /Place not available / Host not canceled booking

Good evening, I would greating appreciate any assistance.

I have made a booking via instant booking, paid for it although host is saying it is not available and he is unable to cancel my reservation as his AirBnB is not working property.

Sounds like you are being dished up a story by the host in the hope that you will cancel.

You should also have the no. to call for South Africa on your reservation confirmation.

I don't seem to find a South Africa contact number (only the number of the host).  Fortunately AirBnB has been able to sort out this matter. 

Do you know of the South Africa AirBnB contact number should this be necessary in the future? Many thanks

I only have the nos. as listed above. Some countries don't have a separate national office.

For ex. here in the Netherlands we call to Ireland, as do some others. 

Maybe you have an idea what that could be... or save the no. you called in case you ever need it.

And if you do, ask them.

@Taanya0 If he has flexible cancelation policy then you can cancel up to 24 h before your check in time. 

If his policy is moderate then you can cancel up to 5 days (I think) before your check in date. In both cases you will get all your money back including Airbnb service fee

But if his cancelation policy is strict or your check in date is closer then you should contact ABB and make them cancel .
