I canceled my trip and refund was issued to the wrong credit card

Hi,

I have just canceled one of my trips and AirBnB automatically issued a refund to the credit card which has been used to book the place. However, that credit card is no longer present and obviously I will not get my refund.. What shall I do now? How do I change my credit card which is applied for a refund?

Hi Andrius,

Sadly, you will have to call the provider of your canceled card to arrange a refund it may be in a form of a check or if your new card is from the same bank you can just ask them to transfer the refund from the canceled card to your new one. Hope this helps.

Hi Michael,

thanks for advice. I have just contacted my bank and they confirmed it should not be an issue to recieve my money since the new card was issued by the same bank.
