I cannot switch my Airbnb app on my phone from traveling to hosting.

I am unable to switch from travelling to hosting on the phone app.  I know where to find the option....the option isn't working.  It just runs and runs, but doesn't open.  All other features of the app are running just fine, but if I can't get into hosting, what is a host to do?  Please don't tell me to go to the website....I need the phone app to work.  Any suggestions?  I have already reinstalled a number of times.
