I got a request and now the guest can not come since they are allergic to cats, but I mentioned

it in the conditions of my airbnb. Now I should confirm or cancel the booking, but it's not my fault and if I cancel the booking, I will lose those dates in my calendar... I asked the guest to cancel but she said she never made a booking request, maybe she thought it was just a request, since she first asked me if there is a parking.

@Marie-Jeanne19 just keep referring her back to customer support, she must do the cancellation, you are not allowed, etc, etc...

 

what did she think the ccard information she entered was for anyway?

All ok, got to talk to Airbnb support and it was just a request and I don't have to respond to the options of confirming in advance or refuse. Nothing will happen to my dates in the calendar, since it is not a booking. Thx anyway for your help!

@Marie-Jeanne19 actually if it is a request you do have to accept or decline. You don't have to if it is an inquiry. Which one is it?
