Due to the phone app not working properly I blocked out dates and guests kept booking when I didnt want guests. I had to cancel them and I then got fined $73. I was told there had been a problem like this with the phone app and a community member would contact airbnb and sort my refund. Ive not heard anything???

No, you misunderstood, you need to contact Airbnb yourself.  No one here can work on your behalf.  We're all just hosts ourselves.
