I have a guest trying to book

I have a friend who just came into town and wants to book a room.  It says SORRY CAN"T BOOK THIS ROOM RIGHT NOW!!

I'm a SUPERHOST and this room is available!  I turned off 1 day notice and I do have INSTANT BOOK turned on.  What gives?

Also why can we not CALL support???

Is your friend new to Airbnb, @Michael378? The problem may be with him/her. Perhaps payment details or verification are not complete? If that is not the problem, you can indeed call support here: Contact Airbnb.

I walked them through verification and all went smoothly... went to book and was told he could not book our room.  Kind of sad all these hours later and your the only one to reply for help. Customer support has said nothing. Not even via email.

Perhaps no one answered because of time zones, etc., @Michael378. It is just volunteers here. I know it is frustrating. Two more suggestions: First, look at your cut-off time for same-day bookings. Did the request to book come after the cut-off time? Second, it's your friend, so you can just block the date at this point. You probably have. I know you want to run it through the system, reviews and all that, but if the system doesn't cooperate, you just have to go with what works. 

Hardly what you wanted, but hopefully it does get sorted.

My cutoff time for same day is 10 pm.... we even tried booking the following day out. SirBnB lost out ... he booked through another company that I signed up with today.

As a super host I'm very unhappy at this point that over 9 hours later and no support. I didn't call before because no matter where I looked I couldn't find a phone number.

i finally tried calling from the link you gave me. 45 minutes on hold and I gave up. Maybe it's time to find another company to list on and give up on AirBnB. With as much money they are making it's hard to believe their support is all volunteers.....

i even posted to their Facebook and no reply. Guess all the volunteers took the day off.
