I have instant booking, why and I still getting a request to pre-approve a booking?

 

Hi,

 

I have instant book on for my listing, I just received a message from someone asking to pre-approve/decline a booking. I thought all booking were instantly accepted. Is it because the booking is for a week so they gat a 15% discount.

 

Thank you for any thought, the instant booking setting is definitely working because I have already had a different booking go through instantly,

Sometimes guests just don't use instant book.  It might be because they want to ask a question or just they don't feel like it.  I have instant book on and still get pre approval requests occasionally.

Guests have the possibility to book instantly. It doesn't mean they have book without making any inquiry.

 

When making an inquiry, the "pre-approve" button will appear on your side. Click on it as soon as possible so that your reactivity is reflected in your stats. 

 

Wether the booking is for a long or a short period doesn't change a thing as long stay discount will be applied automatically.

This can also happen if they don't meet your instant book requirements such as previous positive reviews
