I'm a guest and the host asked me for my personal home address, is that normal?

I'm a guest and the host asked me for my personal home address, is that normal?

Could someone confirm please.

I called AirBnB and told them that I had my own AirBnB account from years ago, but no ratings.  And I no longer live in the area.

So my friend offered to be the listing host and some how we've joined accounts..  AirBnb said I will still receive payments.

But it's been 24 hours and I haven't seen anything.

Please confirm payment will go to my default payment method (PayPal) and not to him.  He would rather not pay taxes on the income, and I need it to cover some expenses paid and improvements for the home.

Thank you

Brett

@Brett147,

This not Airbnb itself, but a community of hosts. You can contact Airbnb in several ways:

Contact Airbnb - A Community Help Guide [UPDATED]

Your transactions are listed in the Transaction History pages, these pages provide information about  processed and upcoming payments.

BTW your posting is not related to the subject line, which is about "personal home address"

Best regards,

Emiel
