I own a museum and I want to become an Airbnb

Hi, I own a small non-profit museum in Massachusetts and I want to become an Airbnb host for stayovers. Are there any obstacles we have to overcome to do this?

@Jm41   Will you risk losing your non-profit museum status if you rent the property via AirBnB?  I would reach out to the local school and church organizations in your area if you are interested in having student groups visit overnight (chaperoned and supervised of course).  I have fond memories of lock-ins at various public venues when I was young (50+ years ago...)

Nope not interested. We just want to open it as an Airbnb and make some revenue.

@Jm41  As long as your property insurance covers short-term rentals (many insurers do not), and you've got everything set up for a guest's comfort, there's no reason why you can't do this.  It would be a unique stay, something very much embraced by Airbnb.
