I paid a much higher price but host got the agreed price

Hello,

I made a booking for 4 nights in Jakarta. The price was 46eur/night.
When I booked I suddenly realised that tha payment became 472eur/night so that I had paid 472eur x 4nights.
I can also see from my bank account that I paid above 2300eur.
However, the host got the 46eur x 4 nights paid in IDR.
I got a first contact with Airbnb telling me that they would escalate this case. I heard this twice. Still I am waiting after almost one week to be contacted.
What can I do and did this happen more often?

So you have already stayed? Otherwise, cancel if it is within time for refund. Contact Airbnb again. Don't wait. If it is a mistake, I have no idea how this could happen, you must be refunded.

I have stayed already. Airbnb just answered me saying that I will be refunded within 15 days. Very good news!
