I pre-approved an iquiring guest about July rental then noticed the summer rate was not reflected ac

I pre-approved a potential guest in early February for July rental.  I then noticed the summer rate was not accurate on his pay out statement.  I brought this to his attention and apologized explaining I was new to hosting and had made an error in making rate changes.  He was pleasant,  understanding and stated he could not afford our summer rate.  So, I declined him.  He understood my decision and there is no issue between us.

 

However, now, I can't get his 3 week booking off my calendar. What can I do?
