I suddenly can't book anything

Hello,

I have tried to book the house from yesterday but you Airbnb weirdly still requested me to provide ID, so I can't book at the moment, anyway. I asked friends Airbnb ever request you to provide your own ID? All said "Never". Please would you tell me how I can book the house on the available day to me, as soon as possible? You know I booked two other stayings in Denmark and Sweden yesterday, without ID...Please let me know how I can sort it out!!

Some hosts require that the guest has provided ID to Airbnb.

It's not an Airbnb requirement. So you can book some places if those host's don't require ID.

In this case the host must have set "Government-issued ID" as a requirement for guests to book their listing.

@Yong-Lim0 as Steve said, that's nothing strange nor new. Some hosts just want to be sure who is booking and require ID (usually you just upload a picture of ID).
