I was wondering how I limit the age of the person that wishes to book. Is that ok?

I feel uncomfortable letting anyone under the age of 25 book the cottage.  Is there a way to arrange that on the site and is that considered fair and ok?

What a sweet little cottage you have, @Cynthia109.  First of all, turn off the Instant Booking because you will not be able to vet the guests before they book and you do not want to get a cancellation on your profile as the penalties are fairly severe.

Once you do that, then you will be able to develop a series of questions that you can use to help you determine if a guest is suitable for your lovely cottage.  You might not find it necessary to find a way of trying to use just age.  You will be able to look at the reviews of the potential guest and feel some comfort if the reviews support good guest behavior.  Good luck and welcome to Air BNB

I understand your concerns, but Airbnb has a current policy to discourage any kind of discrimination, including age. So, your idea would not be supported or available in this website.

Nevertheless, you can accept or not a reservation, as long as the 'Instant Book' option is not active.
