On the "old" Dashboard (the website) an inquiry could be removed (specifically when communication was finished) by choosing option "remove from Dashboard". Maybe i am overlooking something, but how to remove such inquiry from the new Dashboard ?
@Emiel1 There isn't an X to the right? The last one I had has gone so I can't remember. That one went away because the dates were taken.
@Emiel1 If you click on the inquiry and scroll to the bottom, there is a "dismiss from dashboard" option.
Hello @Michelle53 ,
Thank you for replying.
If I click on the inquiry, it opens the Inbox related to it. Do not see an option "dismiss from dashboard" when scrolling to bottom of screen. Please note: I am using the website on a laptop, not the app on a mobile device.
Kind regards,
Emiel
@Emiel1 I can't check it again, since I no longer have any remaining inquiries on my dashboard 😉 But I am on a laptop, too. It was a blue-highlighted link you could click.
Yes, indeed, it was a blue-highlighted-link on the old Dasboard !
But not anymore available on the new dasboard.
@Emiel1 Did you ever find a way to dismiss the inquiry from the new dashboard?
The inquiry I have is not for the dates in her message, but for dates that are booked. She is hoping I'll get a cancellation or that someone will leave early.
Because her dates were not real, I temporarily blocked them, then refreshed my dashboard. The inquiry went away. I unblocked them and refreshed the dashboard. The inquiry came back lol.
I'm going to give feedback. Sometimes that works. However, if this is a ploy to force hosts to send pre-approvals, declines, or special offers, feedback won't work.
No, i did not find a way to remove them manually. But i noticed today they disappeared, probably after some time limit (?). I posted a screenshot from my dashboard in another thread:
https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Hosting/New-dashboard/m-p/1342078#M319687
and those inquiries on the screenshot disappeared now from the dashboard. It seems not related to certain dates blocked, as at least for one inquiry the dates are still available.
If suggest Airbnb simply puts also the "X" on inquires (similar as other notifications such as "XXXX has written you a review"), so then we can remove those items as we wish.
Kind regards
Emiel
