Is a review posted if one party doesn’t leave one?

Hi. I’m a host with all good reviews of my place so far.  I just had a guest leave after a somewhat bizarre conversation  (I think she was drunk), in which she  made some unfair and inaccurate accusations. So far I haven’t left a review, but have been notified that she left a review for me, and I’m concerned that it will be unfairly damage my reputation. My question is, if I don’t leave a review after 14 days will her review of me be made public or do both sides need to review the other for that to happen?

@Bill210 her review becomes public after 14 days if you don't leave her a review. The moment you review her within the 14 day period both reviews become public.

I'd encourage you to leave an honest review of her, and leave a thumbs down. She sounds like someone I would not want to host and I appreciate seeing honest reviews of problem guests (and the thumbs down means she can't instant book & has to send a request which is a red flag for me).
