That would depend on the length of your stay and the cancellation policy the host has setup on their listing.  You will need to provide more information for anyone to be able to provide a specific answer.

Thanks Dave! It's a hypothetical so let's say the length of stay was booked for 3 weeks but after a few days of staying something came up and you'd only be staying 10 days.
