Since airbnb takes in consideration even some exterior factors (promotion on social networks) - do you think that participating to the community help center is beneficial to listing(s) ranking ?

No
How do you know ? Would make sense that being active is rewarded even by a tiny bit..

I learn a lot by reading questions and answers here, and as airbnb host it helped me many times and it still does. I do not know if it helps on ranking but it would be nice of airbnb to put a little boost to those who take time answering and helping other hosts.
If it helped with rankings we would very soon be overrun with spammers just posting for the sake of their rankings rather than to genuinely contribute to the community.
@Lilian20 No, it won't affect your search rankings, but the hosts/guests that contribute frequently sometimes get little gifts as a Thank You from Airbnb. When the Community Center first started I was one of the top ranked contributors and frequently got some nice recognition from Airbnb. Since July I've moved on to other Airbnb-related endeavors so I'm not on the list anymore but rest assured your participation does not go un-noticed!
