I'm asking because I've had two incidents recently where I had some damage and although it worked out ok and the guest said they would pay, there was an issue with "getting paid" before money could be taken out for the damages. It dragged on and was a bit stressfull thinking that it would come out of my pocket or have to persue it more agressively via Airbnb's policy.
This situation just opened my eyes to the possibility of larger problems.
I would just interested to see if there is a way to make sure a Credit Card is on file.

@Joey28, how would it improve the situation if the guest had a credit card instead of debit card?
