I was wondering if there is any benefit to having good reviews as a guest?
@Elroy9 Once you've had a stay at an Airbnb and have gotten a positive review from the host, it will be easier for you to be accepted for stays by future hosts, as they will have more trust in you. It is a 'reference'. So yes, there is a lot of value and benefit in it, if you wish to travel and stay in Airbnb accommodations..
Oh course there is. Many hosts will decline/cancel guests with previous bad reviews. When you have good reviews, hosts are more confident to host you.
@Elroy9 Having positive reviews will help you get your request for booking if any host happens to be on not on instant booking. It's a great reference for them host to know that you're a nice guest to accept in their home 😊
@Elroy9 I see you have a lot of good reviews as a guest. I'm curious as to what prompted your question?
I was wondering if having these reviews make any difference. As compared to someone with little, no or bad reviews.
I have been very aware of keeping people's houses clean while I travel so that they would give me a good review.
@Elroy9 I just declined guests who wanted to book 7 days for Xmas and New Year because they had no reviews and been registered since 2018. And they said something I could not trust. So Yes Yes it is important to have reviews. If they had good reviews from previous hosts I would have accepted their booking.
