It appears that if either guest or host do not submit reviews then neither get posted!
This needs changing as bad guests can not follow house rules but know that if they don't submit a review then they cannot receive bad profile reviews!
After 14 days your review is posted, if both have left reviews than it gets posted straight away.
Not to say things do not go wrong but they should be the exception.
If you are worried about them also leaving a bad review, wait until the last day and then submit yours. They won't have much time left to review you and probably won't. They also probably don't know about this timeline because they don't read or follow rules.
There is a 14day period after your guests check out.
case 1: if within that period, you both post a review, they will get publihed after the second party writes their review.f it is the guests review that gets posted, the host has the option to answer to that review and the answer will appear under the guest's review on the hosts's listing's reviews.
case 2: if one of the parties posts a review and the second party does not, the single review will be published after the 14day period. If it is the guests review that gets posted, the host has the option to answer to that review and the answer will appear under the guest's review on the hosts's listing's reviews.
case 3: if none of the parties posts a review, nothing gets published 😮
my two cents:)
