Length-of-stay discounts

Hi, is there a way to set custom discounts for length-of-stay? I'd like to set my price higher for single nights but then start giving discounts at 2 and 4 day stays. All my weekends are filled(great!) but that means no one will ever have a weekly discount because it would be double booked of course.

Thanks,

William

Over the years I have participated on this forum, @William944 , hosts have posted reasonable issues for the platform as you have, and sometimes other hosts can think outside the box a bit and help.  Here is my thought about your concern.  Rather than offering a discount, reduce your nightly rate for the midweek.  That way, more travelers will see the lower rate and be interested.  I don't believe you can search by discount but you can search by price.  Too simple maybe??

You can add a discount for custom length of stays. It is under your pricing settings and then Length-of-stay-discounts.

If you do not have this option you will need to turn on professional hosting tools:

You can set discount for 2 to 6 nights, they are in same section where you set weekly and monthly discounts

Thank you all for the info and ideas. My main issue was I did not have the professional hosting tools turned on!

I'm 6 weeks into hosting and it's going well, I'm %80 booked 4 weeks out, so I'm hard pressed to lower the price per night because a single stay with 2 people is hardly worth $31(suggested smart price); where as $52 is almost worth it. But I hear what you are saying Linda. Another idea is to set the price for a single person and raise the price after one guest(max is two people at the moment). The extra guest, as you all know, adds more to the mess and more laundry that needs to be done; thus more cost and time.

Thanks again all,

William

@William944, never ever believe or follow the Airbnb price tips. If you have smart pricing turned on, YOU control and set the minimum nightly rate so don't sell yourself short.
