So...if I pretend to be 1 person, my listing doesn't show. If it's 2, it does...This is very odd, as when you set up airbnb, the listing is for up to 2 people - doesn't give you a choice when you edit. The property is 1 bedroom mews house and is suitable for 1 or 2 people.
As I am in a business area, it quite often would suit a single person, so I would be losing out on bookings if people can't find me! But if I change it to 1, I lose out on 2 people? What should I do? Anybody experienced this before?

The direct search to your listing is:
https://www.airbnb.com/s?host_id=245057161
if set filter to 1 guest, it shows result
If set filter to 2 guest, it also shows result.
Maybe there are more properties for 1 person in your area then for two persons, so the listing shows up only on a higher zoom level when searching. I will give it try and mention results later

Emiel

I did a search as a guest for "Hampshire" , and your listing shows up for both filtering 1 or 2 guests, it is even higher in ranking when searching for 1 guest.
But on the booking form something strange appears:
If simulating a booking for 2 guests it says: max. nr of guests is 1.
(allthough the listing says: 2 guests max. ).
You (or Airbnb) need to look into this.
Best regards,
Emiel
