Listing is activated but not showing in search

I listed my place a few months ago but get no requests (even tried lowering price to ridicilous levels). Everything seems enabled but when I check (via friends) it doesn't show up in search..

What am I missing? Any other setting to turn on?

Hello @Boris53,

I searched for accommodation in Tel  Aviv for the 10th to the 14th of September and your listing shows up.

Yours is not an instant book listing so you must meake sure that the instant book filter is off when you search. Airbnb sometimes turns it on automatically when you search. They do this when the search dates are in the near future and when, like in Tel Aviv, there are a lot listings in the area.

Aslo remember to search for a range of dates that's the same as or more than you minimum nights' stay setting.

This post by Jeet has some suggestions to try when searching for your listing.

Why-can-t-I-see-my-listing-in-the-Search-Results?

As @Marzena4 noticed, would also be an idea to change the name to have "room" instead of "root" 🙂

@Boris53 Maybe Airbnb's policy is not to let hosts accommodate guests in roots?

I was on a good roll since I listed a over a couple months ago. I cancelled at no fault of my own and it could not be avoided. That was about a month ago. Airbnb blocked the 9 days because of it and since then I have not gotten any requests. My listing is active and I could find it in my search but I have had several family and friends to search and they can't find it when they search. Does this mean I am still being penalized for cancelling? Airbnb sent me a customer service review shortly after the cancellation and I reviewed honestly, their customer stanks and the cancellation was done because they dropped the ball with my booking requirements. How do I rectify or do I find another site to list my place?
