I am feeling quite hopeless - we became superhost two weeks ago and since then we have noticed our listing stopped showing up from the search result for guests. We can see the listing only if we log in but once we log out and search as guest it completely disappeared. At first we contacted airbnb and was told it was because of our low accpetance rate, and we were suggested to turn on our instant booking. We did that but when we searched later on still no result for our listing, yet our neighbour's house with no review and all blocked date would show up. We then contacted Airbnb again and they confirmed yes there must be something wrong.
Since then we have contacted airbnb and followed up with them everyday (email, calling, twitter, etc). We were advised that the customer service team sent the ticket to the tech team but no update from the tech team whatsoever.
This is a serious issue for us - we have 20 reviews all 5 stars, we always try our best to provide the best quality airbnb experience to our guests but when it comes to hosting issue we are feeling the lack of support from Airbnb.
Can anyone please shed some light?
I have the same problem! Not seen on searching and also have superhost status. Have had no bookings for several months.
I have tried editing my listing to make it "new " but this makes no difference.
What to do?
Hi Lesley
I have in the past found that I get no response writing to them, not even too sure how to do that .
Friends told me that they could not find me on the site. 3 months of no activity, starting just after I got the superhost status
I spent yesterday going to my page ( which I have been able to do all along) and to my horror saw that my calender had been blocked out for the next 3 months! It took a long time to unblock as the changes kept reversing. Anyway finally it was done. I also tweaked the page in several other small ways, just to make the page active. But I am happy to report that I woke up this morning to a a booking! So , Lesley check that your calender is not also blocked out!
PS What is the level 1 and level 10 after the hosts' name all about?
Hi Jeni,
I just relisted my condo in the City. I also am having issues as I can't seem to find a contact for a person or tech support.
My issues is the same...1) can't search for my condo listing 2) I lowered the initial price but it still appears the higher price.
How did you "unblock"?
Thanks
Mya
Can you provide alink to your listing?
Are re getting any views if you look at your stats?
There were reports of a known issue where geocode information was lost for many listings that made Superhost for first time.
@Andrew90 we are getting views because we provided the direct link on our social network and groups.
This is our list - you actually helped looking at it a few days ago. https://www.airbnb.ca/rooms/9522855
Seems like people can find our listing after they view the direct link but as soon as they clear their brower cache and cookies and search as a guest they can't find it anymore.
Hi Andrew
Thank ylou folr your response.
I dont really understand you computer speak.
No I have not yet tried to contact Airbnb. How do I do that? My previous experience did not inspire me with confidence that it would help.
Where do I go for that help?
