Logging into the Airbnb iPhone app via Google not working

I have an iPhone 8 with the Airbnb app... my account is linked to my Google, signs in fine on the web or even on my phone's browser.  When trying to sign in with the app it just turns into a perpetual loop: I go to 'more options,' choose Google, sign in with my credentials, then it just ends up back at the main sign in screen.  I've restarted my phone, signed in and out of all Google-related services on my phone, etc etc etc, nothing works.

Any ideas?!

I am having the same problem. The app worked fine on my iPhone 5, I just got an iPhone 8 a few days ago and now I am stuck in the same perpetual loop that you described. I tried reinstalling the app and updating my phone, buit it's still happening. I can log-in on a desktop computer, but Iwould like to use the app.

I have the same exact problem with iPhone 7; all the other google connected apps work fine. This has been a problem for weeks, and the tech has no response.
