Hi there,
I just received this email from Airbnb, below, stating I have used my 90-day limit for London already, so it will block my calendar from March 1st.
It is inaccurate. I only have 65 nights so far booked for 2017.
How do I correct this?
Thanks, Charlie
I got the same email and I only have two separate private room listings ( not entire place). I just saw on London facebook page air bnb hosts community group - that a few others got the same email and they have called air bnb for clarification - they said they would post response. Seems like a blanket email to London Hosts.
I got the same email this morning (Friday 24th) and I only list private rooms not entire home. Was told by help centre on the phone that it was sent to all London hosts and that I should ignore it! Worrying as the tone of the email was pretty clear and that they would block the calendar from the 1st March!
My understanding is for some reason Airbnb sent this email out to all London hosts rather than just those with whole place listings, that the 90 day regulations apply to....sounds like they have messed up 😞
Thanks all!
Sounds like a rare mistake on the part of Airbnb, so looks like it's best just to ignore it.
I wasn't too concerned, but it just seemed like I'd misunderstood the 90-day rule.
Having carefully looked over the Airbnb 90-day rule info, I see now that you can put in a 90-day minimum stay, if you so desire, which means that if you get a 90-day-plus booking, you are not contravening London government rules... which is of interest in the long run... if you can get that kind of booking!
Cheers, Charlie
