Long term booking and cancellation

I have made a long term reservation (32 days) with a host in Edinburgh, and I tried to contact her for a whole week now with no response. I will be in Edinburgh in 4 days. What should I do? 

 

I also suspect that my host is illegally sub letting her room in a university flat to me. I thought it was a private flat when I first googled it before making a reservation but apparently, it was another building next to it. 

 

If I decide to cancel, will I get any refund at all? From what I read I won't get any refund for a long term policy which is unfortunate because that would mean I will lose $1094 for nothing.

You must contact airbnb immediately with your concerns.  If there is indeed something that is not right, they will let you cancel for a full refund.
