Long term cancellation policy

I have booked a room in a house and am now getting nervous. I am a single woman with two cats and after I booked I found out there will be dogs and three men I don't know. I'm starting to get nervous about staying with all these strangers. My booking is over a month away and I am thinking about cancelling. Does that mean I would forfeit the money I have already paid?

@Amanda194  You might do better (and get a quicker response ) by contacting Airbnb on their twitter account and explaining the problem.  Airbnb has the last word and is better positioned to help you. This is a forum for hosts and guests  Airbnb do not monitor it.

If none of this was disclosed in the listing or messages prior to your booking, I would contact Airbnb and request they cancel this reservation on your behalf penalty free.  Emphasize the fact this important information was not disclosed up front.
