Mark calendar available after early check-out

My guest booked for a month and paid upfront, but will be leaving early as his work has finished. I'd like to re-list and mark the house as available, but if I amend the booking with the revised check-out date because his monthly discount is no longer valid he gets charged more...

Things will go more smoothly if you avoid making guests' problems your problems. Once you go down that path, you will attract the type of guest who might take advantage of your kindness. When he booked, he saw that staying a month is a condition of receiving the discount.
