Minimum age to register as a guest

I am pretty new to Airbnb and have had an enquiry from a 16 year old to book (just a room in my house) for 2 nights. I thought the age to register with Airbnb was 18?

Yes, they must be 18 to reserve. At least in the US, that's the age you have to be to enter into a binding legal contract, so that's what they go by. See here:
