Minimum night stay and instant book.

Hi there :-).

I have instant book on and I also have a minimum night stay of 6 nights because any less is too much hassle from my perspective.

I have recently had guests book and leave big gaps of four/five nights between their booking and the next, which means to keep my occupancy rate high I would have to reduce the min night stay between those bookings. 

This situation is not ideal financailly and I was wondering if it was possible to keep instant book on but not allow guests that leave such big gaping gaps - which mess up my min night stay - between their bookings and the next person. Or am I better off just turning off instant book so I can only choose guests who's bookings fit in well with the next?

You could consider to limit the check-in to certain days (it's a setting), but otherwise there is not really a solution. The min. stay counts from the choosen check-in date, and if it's available, guest can book. By turning off Instant Book you have indeed more control, but probably also less potential guests visiting your listing.It is an utopia to allways have reservations with minimal gaps between them. Until Airbnb has implemented both check-in and check-out possible only on certain days option, @Elizabeth292, it's not possible. Currently, there is the option to set check-in only on a certain day of the week.
