My listing isn't showing up in search

I  noticed that we are requests for bookings has really slowed down lately, so I did a search and on several dates, don't see our property listed as available, when indeed, it certainly is.  Why is this happening?  How many reservations are we losing because of this?

We have had this issue since mid- October.  Have been cailng/emailing airbnb for 2 weeks; we were told our request was forwarded to the market quality team but they have been to busy to look at our ticket... so frustrating.  For us if we do a search logged in we can see our listing but if we log out and search as a guest our listing just completely disappears.

Thanks for your reply.  I've tried it both ways (signed in and signed out), changing dates, length of stay, everything, and it doesn't appear anywhere.  Since other people are saying the same thing, or similar (based on signed in or out)  I have a feeling that AirBNB is controlling who shows up and who doesn't so to give everyone a more "fair" chance at getting a reservation request.  Just my guess.

Yours comes up as the second one on my search.  I didn't use any filters, and 2 guests.

THanks for checking.  I've tried it both ways, and it doesn't show up either way.  I am "surmising" that AirBNB is controlling what properties are appearing.  Just my guess.  Could never prove it.

I've experienced the same thing.  I even had a guest recently who wanted to extend her stay by a few more days and it wouldn't let her.  We put our laptops side by side and sure enough the listing was available all the way through the dates she wanted but it wouldn't let her book it.  It said it was not available for her requested dates.  There definitely is something not working quite right.  Mine periodically don't show up in searches like you're experiencing as well.  It's got to be connected to the date search going first vs the listing area search on mobile.

I am guessing that AirBNB is controlling this. Probably a method to encourage the "spreading of the wealth" so to speak.  We'd never prove it however.

Sure, the same thing is happening to me. I believe airbnb is taking control over over listings.

We've seeing the same thing happen- we tried searching both logged in, and not logged in, and our place doesn't come up at all. Even when we type the name of the listing.

Maddening!

Our listing is available in the calendar but isn't showing up in when I search.  Has anyone had any luck getting a response from Airbnb?

I'm having the same issue. I have two listings. Sometimes they show up and sometimes only 1 or none. Been this way since September I think. Super frustrating. Definitely losing money because of it.

Yup...same problem here also. I just posted my newly remodeled AirBnB and it is also not getting any reservations, not showing up in searches for specific dates. Also, the majority of the other AirBnB's in my town/neighborhood (Cottonwood, AZ) are not showing up when searching for specific dates. Potential guests are not finding any place to stay. We are losing money and so is AirBnB.  I don't think AirBnB is intentionally doing this (because they are losing income here)....it must be a glitch with the software. I'm gonna list on VRBO. Hopefully they have their website better streamlined.

did you ever figure out the reason or get an message from AirBnB.  My newly listed vacation cottage in Cape Cod is not coming up in a searfh.  Phyllis in Washington DC
