My mom referred me to AirBNB. How do I use a promo referral code?

My mom referred me to AirBNB; I signed up a few days ago. As of yesterday, my account is allowed for use.  Today, she sent me an email referral that we each get money because she referred me. I tried clicking the link in the email, but it was as if I was signing up to host for the first time. How do I apply this promo or is it too late?

promotion code will apply automatically to any reservation grater than 75$ 🙂

Has the $75 changed? I asked this in the airbnb support. I was told its $100.

Codecwill only apply if you used the link your mum sent you to set up the listing.
