Need to get in touch with Case Manager Lorello in SE Asia!!!

I am a very successful host who ran into a major problem with my account.  For over a month, my public calendar viewed that I was unavailable for the entire month of August, even though MY personal calendar viewed as wide open.

My case got turned over to a Case Manager by the name of Lorello, and he is based in SE Asia.  After about 19 days, he personally was able to fix my issue last Tuesday August 5th, and now my public calendar  shows all days in August available.

The last message I sent to him was me asking if he could leave this case opened in case something odd happens, like loosing a ton of money in August due to the inability for anyone to book days in August.

However, it seems that in just the last day or so, my case was closed, as well as my ability to contact Lorello (who had already talked with his manager about getting me compensated for all of the days I loose out on).  I'd like to ask if this message could be routed to him personally, because oddly, I have still not received any requests for nights in August, even though I have had 303 views in the last 30 days.

If you look at my account, I have never had such a horrible month, and fear that my account is still not working for August.  Since it was he personally who fixed my account, and the one who knows the most about it, and he alone who has already spoken to his manager about compensation, I would like to continue my my discussion with him to see if there is a reason that I'm not booking in August, even though I've started booking September.

Can the person who reads this please try to get this message to Lorello  ASAP., and thank you in advance for doing this for me.

Regards

Rich Krekian

@Richard1404  This is just a community forum for hosts and guests to exchange info and ask questions. No one here can facilitate this for you.

FYI there have been many posts recently with hosts experiencing the exact same issue. It is obviously a system glitch, yet Airbnb doesn't appear to be acknowledging it as such, but handling it on a case by case basis, as if it has something to do with the host's account. When you do get ahold of either the Airbnb case manager you have been dealing with or another, make sure to impress on them that this glitch is being reported widely here on the CC.

Thanks so much for this information Sarah!!  I have forwarded my message to Airbnb Support, where I'd originally meant to send it, but I find that my mistake in sending it you Community Centre was an amazingly great mistake.  You have given me the absolute best tools to battle this issue by saying that it is a system wide glitch!!  Thanks So Very Much for the hints about how I should approach the issue.

I've reached out to Customer Support, who can hopefully get my message sent on to my former case manager.

Last quick question, have you found that this problem ever gets "fixed", and have you ever see it "appear" to be fixed, but people are still unable to book nights with the host involved??  Hopefully you've got a great reply like the one from an hour ago.

Thanks in advance Sarah!!

@Richard1404  I haven't personally experienced this glitch on my account, so it's obviously not system-wide, as some other glitches are, but I've been reading many posts here in the past couple weeks from hosts who are dealing with this issue, so obviously affecting more accounts than just yours. Maybe there's some commonality to the settings all the affected hosts use that's the determining factor, who knows?

Dates either show as open on the host's calendar but not on the booking calendar, or they show as available to the guest, but when the guest goes to book, they get a pop-up that says the dates are unavailable.

Hopefully some other hosts who have experienced this will chime in, and you can try a search on this site to find the other threads that were started on this. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

You’ve actually been extremely helpful and I look forward to hearing from ANYONE else who has experienced problems with their calendars not being accessible to guests   Is it just the month of August?  How does you calendar appear to the public as compared to you personal calendar? Etc
