Hi all,
Since approx 2015 I hosted a lot of people through Airbnb in my down town Tilburg apartment ... Helped out a lot of people finding a more permanent place here and enjoyed it very much ... Travelled via Airbnb aswell multiple times ... And of course, earned part of a living, enabling me to quit social security and pay taxes to local and national government on my income ... Besides more money spend locally by my guests (and me) ... Never had any issues with people living in my neighbourhood about nusance and noise ... Even have written permission for my landlord, a local housing corporation ...
No I heared this afternoon, that neighbours are starting to complain about Airbnb and people earning a living hosting travellers ... While living in a rental apartment or social housing ... Anyone had a discussion / issue like this before, or heared about it? Seeking advise how to deal with this ... Any things I can do or say to deal best with this issue?
Best,
