New York City Tax Question

New York City Tax Question

I recently noticed that Air B&B added an "Add Tax" button under the To Do section on my listing. Prior to this, we've never collected a separate tax from our guests. We just pay income tax on the income we make from the rentals, which we get on our W2 from Air B&B at the end of the year. Does anyone know if this is now required for all listings? And if so, what is the rate for NYC? We do rentals in a legal two-family home here in Brooklyn. Any advice would e greatly appreciated.
