Hi Community and thanks in advance for any advice on the following predicament.
We have a 6 bedroom house that we rent out to large groups. One bedroom has (2) sets of bunk beds (twin over twin bunk, full over queen bunk and a cot) and sleeps 7. We would like to change it to (1) queen, (1) daybed with a trundle and (1) cot which would sleep 5. The reason we are changing the layout is to offer better sleeping arrangements for our guest and one of the bunk beds is going to need to be replaced eventually from wear and tear.
Our calendar has sporadic bookings through November 2020 with the original bedroom bunk bed configuration. Here are the problems we are running into while trying coordinate the renovations and bookings:
1) Update the bedroom photos to let guests that book from this point forward that the bedroom is not bunk beds still keep the bunk bed furniture there until March 15
2) Notifying the confirmed guests that have booked through November that the bedroom layout is changing (without having them cancel!) and that it is sleeping 2 less people.
