New to hosting - How do i know the guest have paid

Good morning, 

I know this may seem a silly question to ask, but how do i know when the guest have paid and that i can proceed to let the guest stay... i.e give access codes to building an apartment.

Would it show in the ' Completed transaction' section. Does that mean we are paid and i can proceed?

As far as I know, payment is being made, when you get the E-Mail Confirmation by airbnb that your booking was sucessful. Thereafter your calendar is blocked and you have an entry in your booking section. No fraud possible. Before payment the guest would never get contact details or exact adress. So don't worry.

Exactly, I agree with Carsten. The payment will then be released to you about 24 hours after the guests have arrived. You will get an email about this from Airbnb 🙂
