Newburyport, MA tax is set too high. How to fix?

It looks like Airbnb has added a line item for taxes to listings in MA.  This is great, as the hosts shouldn't have to deal with collecting this.

However, it's set too high for Newburyport.  The state wide tax is 5.7% and towns can add an additional tax but Newburyport hasn't.  I called the Town Assessors Office and they confirmed this.  

But for my listing and other listings I'm checking in town there is around a 10% tax being taken from guests.  It's slightly different each time.  Sometimes more, sometimes less.  Is there way to inform Airbnb to correct this?  Is there a way to determine how this is even being calculated?
