Night in the car in the desert!

Booked studio, Al Hamra, UAE, 31st July and 1st August. Arrived in area midnight, no address on any paperwork. 2 hours on this chat and trying to contact owner and the emergency number given doesn't work from the UAE. Slept in the car at 38 degrees Celsius with our dog, at the side of a road- which is illegal in the UAE. Husband lost work, as dive instructor- this is what we had booked to stay in the area for. Been sending complaints since then with no response. Owner has referred us to you.

Sorry to read about your experience.

This is the community,  not Airbnb itself.

But why not being more prepared like having the address available before starting travelling?

It should be on the itinerary ! you need to contact Airbnb for this issue. Seems to me a failure from the host not providing the address.
