Hi, I'm new to hosting on Airbnb. When I set my nightly price up for $90 per night and I then go onto the Airbnb website it's showing $179 per night. Does anyone have any idea Why this may happening. Thanks.
If you change the nightly prices, make sure that you save the changes by clicking on the "save changes" box
@Rod-and-Jayne0 This is probably becasue your base price is $179 and you've updated individual days at $90. If you search without dates, you will see your base price, or $179. I would suggest lowering your base price to $90 or less so that you get more clicks from people who are casually searching.
Daniel,
I am also having the same problem, maybe you have an idea what I can do to fix it. My room is listed at $55 per night, $65 on Friday and Saturday night (with some variations on special occasions and holidays). When I go to the site and look up my listing it shows that the room is $70 per night. I have my base price listed at $55, so not sure why it is happening. Any suggestions? If you are good at this (I am new and have only had 2 guests so far), and have had a lot of experience, would you mind looking at my page and seeing what you see? If so, I thank you so much. 🙂
Steve
@Steve74 If you search your listing without dates, you should see only your base price. However, if you search with dates, the price that Airbnb shows is with cleaning and fees included so it will be higher than your base price.
I actually review host's Airbnb listings with my 26 point check list to earn some side income, but go ahead and send yours and I'll review for free here.

I have a similar problem, I just set up our air bnb and set the price at $95, flat rate no difference for weekends etc but on the website it shows $85 when I click on it it shows $95 but feel the main page offer is misleading to clients.
Irene
The pricing is right 🙂
Many hosts get confused because
1) If you search with no dates, your base price will show up (excluding fees/cleaning)
2) If you search with dates, your price increases due to taxes, fees, cleaning
So, if you set your base price at $85 and see $95 in search, probably due to #2. Send your link and I'll take a look.
Many thanks for your reply. Ours is actually in reverse, we listed at $95 and it was showing at $85.00 we do not have any extra fees on our listing. Today it seems to have sorted itself but thanks for your help.

Are you getting NZD and USD mixed up? Ensure you're in the same currency in all screens. I just did an experiment and comes back $70 USD in all instances, see attached photos....darn, I cannot figure out how to attach photos. That's frustrating! You'll just have to take my word for it. @Lizzie a little help with this?
P.S. Change your title to "Private Bath/Living Room + BBQ + Patio Views" - I think it will get more clicks 🙂
I also have that problem. Has anyone responded to your query?
