Not Getting 25% Payment for Covid Cancellations.

Aloha from Kauai!

Now that Airbnb has setup a page showing which reservations qualify for the 25% refund (for stays up until May 31st), I noticed that I do have some reservations that were canceled and fit the criteria, but I asked Airbnb's help in cancelling, so since the guest didn't cancel and a specialist did it for them, they won't be providing me that money for those specific reservations.

The reason the most of these reservations needed help from the Airbnb team was because these guests would request a cancellation from me in March for a May reservation. I'd receive the request from Airbnb, but deny it because I felt at the time it was too early. Then Airbnb extended their cancellation policy into May, but those guests were not allowed to send me a 2nd request to cancel and so I had to get Airbnb involved.

Anybody else dealing with this? I hope Airbnb will take these situations into account. I have a handful of reservations like this and these funds would help me greatly.

Thank you!

Airbnb 25% Covid Cancellation Payout Airbnb dishonestly

Airbnb lowered my booking rate on all 8 of my reservations that qualified for the 25% Covid cancellation, in order to pay less then committed. I sent Airbnb snap shots of my original booking rates the guests paid, along with snap shots of the rates Airbnb lowered my bookings to, without my authorization. I spent 2 months contacting Airbnb support and was finally told that a case manager would be reaching out to me to proviide me with accurate records and compensation. Another month went by, while I continued to attempt to reach out to support.
Now, Airbnb is telling me there is nothing they can do to provide me with accurate records, (for tax write off purposes) and the compensation Airbnb committed to.

Did anyone else experience this issue with Airbnb lowering your original, booking rate, from what the guests actually paid, (without your authorization) In order to compensate you less then committed on the 25% payout? Is this even legal???
