Not receiving requests for bookings

I used to receive requests for bookings and I Would have the opportunity to pre approve or deny the request.  For the past two bookings, I have only received a confirmation of a booking I had never heard of before.  Why?  I prefer to be given the option.

Check to see if you have accidentally ticked the instant book option.

If yiu are in instant book then turn it off.
