Open Reservation/Gift Certificate

Hi Everyone,

I have a potential guest who would like to give her family a "gift certificate" for a stay at my cottage, but I don't know how to go about accommodating her very creative request since it would be an open reservation without confirmed dates.  Does anyone have experience with this?

Any US Airbnb user can purchase a gift certificate for another Airbnb guest so long as they have signed up as a user.  You can suggest to the potential guest to read  https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/981/how-do-airbnb-gift-cards-work

The recipient of the gift card then makes the reservation with you and pays with the gift card.  Hope this helps!
