Pay and weekly as opposed to paying monthly.

Pay and weekly as opposed to paying monthly.

Hello, I have a guest that wants to come in this weekend and stay for a couple months and he wants to pay weekly but every time he tries to go in it keeps charging him for the whole month. His company is paying for this and he doesn’t get his Perdiem until Wednesdays. Any suggestions?

"Long term stays" have payments / payouts in monthly installments, so nothing can be changed to that.

If it is acceptable to you he can book for 1 week and then extend the reservation every week ("change "), so then he is weekly charged. Please note Airbnb Guest Service Costs will be higher (as they are lower percentage for "long term stays")

Also monthly discount (if any offered by you) is not applied, allthough you can correct price manually in the "change" form. Also the "long term stay" cancellation policy is not applied  this way.

Please note it is not common to pay weekly on long term stays, also if it is not arranged via Airbnb.

Best regards,

Emiel

This is really the guests issue to solve rather than yours @Sharon1157 .

If he wants the certainty of having accommodation for the duration of his stay he needs to pay the monthly charge up front and then he receives weekly reimbursements from his company towards the cost.

Simple answer is...... "NOT POSSIBLE" to pay weekly  - this is simply not how Airbnb works. For short-term stays the assumption is that a full payment is made to secure a confirmed reservation. Long-term bookings charge by the month.

Long-term reservations

If you book a reservation for 28 nights or more, you’ll be charged an initial payment for the first month when the reservation is confirmed. After that, payments will be charged on a monthly basis.

Who cares when/what day the guest gets paid or reimbursed from his/her firm or how.

This has nothing to do with the booking payment terms between host and guest.
